got the date
Congratulations on getting the call. Time will so fly by and before you know it, it'll be your big day. Believe it or not I was rather calm and excited the day of surgery. I surprised myself.

Yahoooo Karen!!!!
So happy for you. When I got my date, it was 6 weeks away but the time zoomed by. Just continue doing what you're doing.
I too was excited to be having surgery but the hormones after the fact were very strong. I didn't have pain during the entire time but rather discomfort from the gas and tightening in the abs where they cut . You go home with no mess and your encouraged to be up as much as possible. Kee & I are 12 days out and I can only speak for myself- I feel like I didn't have surgery, my steer strips are all off and my incisions are dry & healing, I am tired of full fluids but I'm doing fantastic!!! Bowel movements are normal and my water intake is almost back to normal. Life is a little different on the other side and I'm sure I'll struggle when I need to eat solids again but I'd not change my decision for the world!!!!! Imdown 12 lbs in 12 days and have nothing to complain about --- woohooooo!!!!! Keep us posted!!!!
