You can find the Edmonton Bariatric Peer Support Group yahoo group at health.groups.yahoo.com/group/EdmontonBSG/.  Admittedly, it's not as active as this forum, but there are some good people there as well.

There is a group on Facebook..it's called Weight Wise Edmonton  and you must be approved by someone to join as well as another called Gastric Bypass Alberta Canada and this one is simply joinable with no approval necessary as well as it's still quite new and not too many people know about it...yet!    So far that is all that is on there locally.
