Class was good.

One hour is a good length of time, I wish we had time for choreography though.  Combos are good fun.

Karen is lovely. The studio is lovely! Very close to my home, kind of like a hidden jewel!

My neck is killing me, I got a splitting headache after the class, I'm not sure why!?  Maybe all of the upper body work and lifting the chest etc is not what I'm used to.

Thanks for letting us know about the class....looking forward to next week.

Hi- I thought the class was great and for me 60 minutes is plenty to start with. I was amazed at what a workout it was.

Karen is great and the studio was very interesting. Next week I plan to go earlier to look around more.

I'm not sore yet but... I think I will head for the hottub before bed tonight!

Weather permitting- that idea sounds great to me.

And thank you, Sarah, for arranging this for us. I was surprised at the big turnout. I'm sure the studio is happy with the number who signed up and you wouldn't really want many more than that. It would be too crowded and too hot! It was lots of fun and I'm looking forward to next week.

I loved it....way more fun that I thought it would be.  I can sort of feel it a bit, but not bad....maybe I didn't work hard enough?  Not sure how well I'm getting the hang of it...but I guess...practise, practise, practise.

Not too too far from where Corrie and I live, so I pick her up on the way.  Wow, I love those exotic outfits....

The studio in back is bigger than I expected, but wow was I warm.  Next week, shorts, a towel and water...!!!

NIce to meet you guys, and yes, Thank you Sarah

I have NO idea who everyone was.  Can you tell me where you were in the room (other than behind me...hahah!)  What colour hipscarf you were wearing?  Who you came with?

I'd love to be able to match the faces and names.

Dreena ....(I was at the front/right side, first in intro, makes and teaches hula hooping) Tall'ish' very short hair.  Wearing black, navy hip scarf with silver coins.  Please say hi to me next week!

Hi fellow Shimmy-ers!

Had a great time and am looking forward to going again!  I was feeling it a bit this morning but not too bad.  There were a lot of muscles being used that aren't used that often!

I look forward to seeing everyone again next Sunday!  I have to work immediately afterwards so I'll have to head out right away but am still glad I can make it.

Talk to you then,

Rosemary

Hi Everyone!!

I totally didn't know who everyone was either! Dreena I was right behind you! I'm the short one who dropped my scarf first (Green jingly scarf!)

I had a blast and am so looking forward to next week!

Sarah- I'm up for that walk!

Hope you are all having a fantastic week!

Chance

OH!  Were you right in the middle?  Or were you directly behind me...lol...If you were I couldn't see past me in the mirror to see you!

I do recall a green jingly scarf hitting the floor! LOL.  You have to tie those babies really tight, and I'm built like a dude..i wish I had bigger hips or a smaller waist...more feminine curvy!  Ah well, I have what I have, and it's strong...so I'm blessed.

I think I recall thinking to myself about how tiny you are.  Did you have surgery already or are you just doing a really AWESOME job at pre-surgery weightloss.

Looking forward to next week!

I'll be there a touch early, see you all there.

Tiny... as in short? That was definately me! I'm "almost" 5'2.

I am still pre-surgery but I have been doing well losing. I've lost about 26 lbs since I started in the clinic at the end of April. I'm a smaller morbidly obese person. (That's fun to say!) My BMI is 39.5 currently.

Its so great to be meeting everyone and to be putting faces to names on here!

Also-  I so enjoyed listening to you all shimmy!

So there were six? of us from this forum at class?

Plus I knew two other ladies from twitter who are not from here but had heard of the class (haha small world).  They had a third friend with them.  That makes 9.

Isn't that almost the whole class?
