I went to module one last year and now I'm going on Oct 15th for my first assessment.  I haven't taken any other modules due to moblity issues with travelling and money issues too.  WW said that Module one is mandatory anyways.  Flying in from Winnipeg on the 14th and my sister s coming with me too.

Congrats on getting into the clinic! Its the best thing that has ever happended to me! I feel great and I'm still presurgical.

There has been changes to the criteria for the clinic and part of that includes having to attend 4 modules including module 1- but that change may have been made after you were referred and I don't know what the rules are for out of provincers.

Anywhoo... Welcome and keep us all posted on your journey.

Who knew?  I met with my dietician (Carissa) yesterday and my nurse (Lori).  I'm now all signed off for Weight Wise.  I thought I was actually already in the progam, but I wasn't.  I'm on my 4th module, been seeing the dietician for months, booked for my metal health appt and doing the food journal, exercise routines etc.  I'm now told that this is "Pre-Weight Wise" and now that I have all this under my belt they will know I am serious and put me on the list to get into the actual Weight Wise program.  I guess after that, if they approve, I'll be put on another list to see the surgeon????

Please let me know what happens at your first session, very interested to know the next steps...thanx
