I too have an Omron.   I got mine at Shoppers Drugmart...it was in one of the aisles with various medical supplies.   It's an EXCELLENT pedometer.  It tracks, steps/kilometers/estimated calories burned/ and aerobic steps done in a day.  Love it.

It sits in the pocket or has a cord that you can loop through a belt loop...and a safety clip...so if it slips out you aren't going to lose it.

**TIP**

Use the safety strap and the clip! I have flushed or dropped 2 pedometers!

I too have an Omron bought at Shoppers Drug Mart but you can also get them at Costco online.  I couldn't find them in the store but that was back last year.
The saftey strap is a good thing and I like the fact it can go in my pocket.
Good luck
