I have my first assessment appointment on Oct 15th and I will be flying in on the 14th and leaving on the 16th. I will need a wheelchair accessible hotel and prefer a non-smoking one.  My appointment will be a Royal Alex. Bring my sister too.

Much appreciated!

Hiya Linda!

Hope your appointment on the 25th goes well.

There are a few hotels near the Royal Alex- There is a Ramada and a couple others... Try googling Edmonton City Centre Hotels.

Good luck!

Hi Linda,

I hope the Weight Wise Clinic is as successful for you as it has been for me and sooo many others. :)

The closest motel/hotel to the Royal Alex is the Best Western. It's just down the street.

There are many others within distance as well.

It amazes me that Manitoba doesn't have a program like Weight Wise. So now, I've met people from BC, Sask, and now Manitoba coming to the program. This is FANTASTIC... lots more people needing help can get it!!

A baritric program has started here in Winnipeg, but I didn't meet their criteria as my BMI is too high at 60 they want your BMI to be 47 and under. Rather low in my opinion.  They will keep me in their list if their criteria broadens.
