Kee & I are headed in on Tuesday to both have our sleeves done by Dr. Birch and his team.
Please say a prayer for us for an uneventful surgery & speedy recovery.

I'm heading into Edmonton with my hubby tonight and I'm beyond excited.
Though I have alot to do around here ( get kids settled into knowing I'm not going to be here until Thursday & to behave for their Auntie , writing out the emerg numbers , packing, etc) I;m bounding around like I won the lottery. ( in a sense I guess I really have! )

Anyway......

See you sometime Tuesday Kee!! Safe travels to the city !

Good luck to both you and Kee! That is so exciting. Will be  sending lots of healing thoughts to you both. I am just starting my pre-op diet this week, and will be in for surgery in a few weeks. Let me know how it goes!

Hey Kim,
I'm already in the city, well Sherwood park to be exact. I came in earlier today with my cousin.

Guys I am seriously wondering what's wrong with me cause I'm doing ok so far, not panicking or stressed at all.  I'm feeling cool as a cucumber...sort of speak and that's not me normally I sweat the small stuff and get anxious easy but so far so good.

I am so gratefull for all your support here on the forum. I wouldn't have made it this far without it.

I have also taken some before pictue in my work scrubs and still have to do a few in my regular clothes.

Now all I can say is come on Tuesday.

wear your FAVORITE outfit.. and SAVE IT ... to compair.. in a month .. 3 months 6 months.. 1 year ... etc.

Very exciting and my thoughts and prayers are with you.  Dr. Birch is so nice and I hope that in a number of months I'll be ready as well!   I'm proud of you both for all of the hard work you've done to get to this point and keep on going...you're wonderful inspiration and you guys will come through this with flying colours!

I was planning on making a post for you both, but you beat me to it. Good luck to both of you and I am praying for a fast recovery and a complication free surgery and recovery process. It is a great feeling when you see the pounds just falling off after surgery.

So I did my pre-admission clinic today and it took me a whole 1r & 45 minutes!! I seen a nurse, the anathesiologist ( and I totally spelled that wrong) and a Lab tech! Was easy and painless!

Got a call at 3:30 today and I'm to report to admitting at 8:45am for surgery 3 hrs later.
So excited and will likely not sleep well tonight!! Lol
Thanks for all the well wishes!! I guess I'll meet Sarah & Chance on Wednesday-- hopefully I feel good!!
