Weight Gain AFTER Surgery
So I guess this would be for anyone that has had surgery....
I had surgery on July 19 and proceeded to lose weight.
From July 13 to August 16 I lost 14kgs. then on August 27 I gained 0.1kg back. Then on August 30 I was another 0.7kg up. Then yesterday I went in to the clinic to weigh myself and I was another 0.5kg up. So what the heck is going on????
I'm trying to get my protein in. I feel like I'm never eating fruits and veggies....yesterday I was craving salad so I bought some that I can make for home. I started going to the gym - just on the treadmill since I'm still not allowed to lift anything until my wounds are healed...which isn't yet.
I've been told to make sure I have protein at every meal/snack and when I don't eat much at all I find it so hard to eat anything of value.
Did anyone else experience this?

Could be water retension....I can fluctuate two lbs here and there constantly.
It drives the hell outa me, but what can you do?
I don't let it get to me much...but iit can be frustrating
You are still fresh out of surgery...I would say...give your body time to adjust...it will come up...trust me!
