EBSG Summer Social Potluck - Sat, Aug 28

The Edmonton Bariatric Peer Support Group (EBSG) is planning to host a summer BBQ Social on Saturday, Aug 28th at one of our member's home in Ardrossan.

In an attempt to create a larger community of pre/post WLS folks, we would like to invite folks to attend and participate in our potluck event.
 

As it stands, the details of the event are as follows:

Start Time: 12:00pm (People can start arriving anytime after this point)
We plan to start cooking around 1:00pm to eat around 1:30pm or so.

Spouses and children are definitely welcome.

End Time:  No set time, but the mosquitoes may help us decide.  :)

This will be a potluck event.  We will ask those of you who can to contribute something to collective meal whether it's a main dish, drinks, snack items, or a dessert item.  Please note that official attendance numbers have not been determined yet.  So, quantities of contributions are still pending.  Naturally, we want to make sure that all contributions are healthy, lower fat and calorie, and higher in protein type options. 

With that said, I would like those who are planning to attend the social to complete the following survey to confirm their attendence.  This survey also will ask questions such as number of people attending, what people can bring, and who needs transportation to the social.

Deadline for responding to confirm your attendance  is Wednesday, Aug 25th at 12pm.  More information will be forthcoming after the deadline.

Just a reminder that the EBSG Potluck/BBQ Social is scheduled for this upcoming Saturday.  Confirmations have been few and far between.  Understanding that most people don’t know what their schedules are too far in advance, please visit the potuck survey page to confirm your attendance or otherwise.  It would be appreciated.  Deadline for response is Wednesday at noon in order to provide ample time and information to prepare.
