So very disappointed

I'm another one on Dr. Nohr's waitlist. It takes sooo long to get the consult let alone the surgery. I too waited 3 years for the consult and my surgery date is in 2012. It's so friggin depressing! I wanted it done laproscopically but chose open as the wait list is a year shorter. This is crazy that we have to wait so long for this. I fear my comorbidities will worsen the longer I wait. The bright spot on the horizon is knowing it will come one day. Chin up hun, you're a lot closer than me.

Thanks for the support.  I have the same fears about getting worse.  I would have been fine had it been cancelled that day, or a few days before because of emergency surgeries or if he was sick or something, but to be bumped 6 weeks ahead of time wasn't something I thought could happen.
