choices

Just wondering if some of you who have already had surgery can tell me what made you choose between the RNY and the veritcal sleeve and how you are doing with either surgery.

Hi I had surgery on April 6th I had the RNY for one reason. Im very Black and White and with the amount of weight i needed to loose and the yo yo diets i had been on over the years I didnt want tohave to go through another.. I have had several issues but All in all I wouldnt change my choice.. maybe sooner but we all do things for our own time. I believe that when you go see the surgeon .. talk to your NUT and do some research it will all fall into place.. Good Luck...

Thanks for the input I keep going between the sleeve and RNY.  The surgeon didn't really give a preference for me told me I qualified for all three.  Glad to hear though everything is going well for you.

With RNY you ll have a stoma no piloric Volve you dnt want that either sleeve or DS.
