YAY!! Down 10%

Ok so I saw Dr. Farries Nurse on Monday and I am down the required 10%(27lbs) however the kicker is that I now have to wait until the end of Sept to see Dr. Farries himself who is the only one who can put in my O.R. card to be booked for Surgery  I called the office after I got home ans sked to be put on a cancellation list to see him sooner and they told me it doesn't really matter cause its a 6 month wait to have surgery anyways!!!I was so upset!!!

However I do know that Dr. Farries rewards good behavior so My plan of attack is to conitnue to lose more weight, so he will be impressed enough to hopefully move me up the list when I see him. Wishfull thinking...maybe but it worth a try. I am even will to have it at Christmas time as it is the slowest time at work anyways. I'm hoping that might be an option too.I will talk to his nurse in Aug when I see her.

I am thinking that the more I lose now is less I have to lose after so onwards I go. I have 2 months before I see him and I hope to double my lose. I am thinking thesurgery is only a tool( I really want badly) but a tool none the less so, as long as I am losing weight one way or another I'm still losing. then when ever I finally get booked it will help me to finish my journey and stay that way.

WOOHOOO Chrissy!!! Doesn't that 10% feel amazing!!!

My new motto in life is " Nothing tastes as good as being healthy feels " and that is what it's all about. That ice cream that we all used to love and eat without thinking about what it was really doing to our bodies isn't nearly as sweet as feel alive again , fitting into smaller clothing, fitting in an airplane seat etc. Your time for surgery will come and all these lil steps along the way will make it worth so much more!!!

Yahhh, so happy for you and your achievements thus far!! Keep it up!!

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010

I think you have a great and postive attitude and you have come this far...you will lose more and you will impress him:)

The surgery is only a tool, but being on this side of it I can tell you honestly that it is the greatest tool in your tool belt so please do not let anything discourage you from the path to getting it.  I would never go back.  I love my sleeve and would not change it for the world!  I finally have control over food instead of it controlling me.  And the boni=us is that I lose every week:)

Good luck!  You will be on the losers bench soon enough!

Thanks for all the positive support ladies!!
I have hit my firsdt plateau I think. I have been the same weight for almost 2 weeks!!

I think I may have to change it up a bit...increase my physical activity and change me eating pattern a bit to trick my body!! I hope it works!!
