NSV
I had a pretty good NSV yesterday. I was at the Tool concert last night and I was able to sit in the seats comfortably with room on either side of me, my body didn't even touch the sides. I even had a bigger man sitting in the seat next to me and I had room to move! It was great. I remember the last concert I went to I could barely fit in the seat and my poor friends had to sit sideways to accommodate me. What a great night!
I love my sleeve!
I love my sleeve!
haha, Tool is a band! They sold out Rexall Place, so pretty popular with the Rock/Alternative crowd.
Thanks for the compliment! I'm feeling really good lately. Some foods don't agree with me, but it's the ones that I should be avoiding anyway so that's probably a good thing. I'm dropping inches and sizes really quickly still, I can fit into a size 14 where I was a size 22 three months ago!
I'm so happy I made this life changing decision!

That is one of the best feelings. So happy for you!!
I went to Disneyland in February and my highlight of the whole trip was being able to fit comfortablely in the plane seat and have slack on the seatbelt. I think I was beaming from take off to landing. I wish I had of gotten my hubby to take a pic LOL
Another for me is the smaller clothing sizes. I have yet to go for my sleeve surgey but the results in the fitting room are so wonderful. I was a tight 24 for many yrs and I bought my first L top-- NOT PLUS just regular old LARGE and size 16 shorts....I had never been so happy before. I have the size tags on my fridge and just might have to scrapbook a page on my NSV.
Keep up the fab work !! We're all rooting for you to be as successful as possible!!
Have a super weekend!

I think in the fall we are going to take a trip somewhere and I can't wait to actually be comfortable in the seat and to be able to bring the tray down fully instead of it resting on my stomach. I can totally understand your happiness and I'm looking forward to sharing in it.
I'm still fitting into most XLs, hopefully one of these days I'll just be able to walk into a normal store and feel comfortable enough to look around and think that things might actually fit me. I'm still not of that mindset. I still go into Addition Elle and Penningtons looking for clothes, it's a hard habit to break after so many years.
I hope you had a great weekend!

I don't know what NSV means but I drive a Saturn Astra which is a pretty small car so I have to use a seat belt extender and now I don't!!!!!!!! I was by myself when I realized this so when I got in front of my house I honked for my husband to come out and I kiss the extender and threw it out the car window. My husband was laughing a clapping. It was awesome!!!
I am really far from fitting into an airplane seat but I cannot wait until I can go to concerts and go on airplanes without feeling like...well you know.
Katrina
PS I love Tool...How was the concert?

Your NSV sounds awesome! It's amazing what this surgery and some hard work does for people. You sound like you're doing pretty great yourself (with the exception of the hernia). Congrats!
Tool was amazing as usual, this was my 5th time seeing them and they never fail to entertain. Maynard is really strange, but he's a musical genius so we have to give him the freedom to be as weird as he wants to be lol.
