The Newfie interloper again!

Hi there, I am Sandy from Crossfield, Alberta
I was first introduced to Dr. Farries and his assistant Christine on March 1, 2010
He has his office in Red Deer, Alberta
My family doctor sent in a request May 2009
So, it is about 1 year waiting, to get to meet the "Dream Team".
Christine is absolutely fabulous, I heard about Dr. Farries, from my sister, who had an "Open RNY" in 2008, and she is now a "Cougar".
Dr. Farries and his team are the greatest.
I am on a 1cup per meal regime and journal ling everything.
I have lost approx. 17 lbs. since March 2010
My next appointment with Dr.Farries is July 8, 2010
His patients go every month, to meet him or Christine and to talk about the journey.
They have an awesome Group meeting, on the third Wednesday of each month. It is so good to meet others that are on the same journey.

Mary, I have often wondered about going to Mexico for the surgery, I know for a fact that the medical system there is not as corrupt as the Alberta Health Care System.
My parents ;live down there in the winter and are far better with their down there.
I am very interested to hear how Mellisa is doing.
