Relene...how are you doing?
Hey Starwalker...all:) I'm doing great actually. I saw Dr. Birch yesterday. It was my first time meeting him. He's kinds cute lol! But anyway I asked about that pain in my side. He was not concerned. He said that it is common with LSG/VSG as that is the site that takes the most abuse. They have to make it larger as that is where they remove the portion of stomach. He was very nice and I am so pleased with my surgery and the choice I made. My scars are tiny and he stitched them very tight so they will hardly be noticable when I am all healed. He did not say that I am able to go back to work though, so I have made an appointment with my GP for the 6th (well it was for the 29th but they had to post pone) to get a letter sayying that I am able to return to work. Dr. Birch did say that he does not need to see me again, so that is a great thing...means I am having a textbook recovery!
