Reminder: EBSG Peer Support Group Meeting on Friday
RNY on 05/23/12
RNY on 05/23/12
The meeting starts at roughly 5:30pm and goes until 8pm, at the latest. It really depends on the people who show up and how much there is to discuss. It's a very informal meeting where everyone shares updates on where they are in their journeys and exchanges information and advice. At this point in time, we don't bring in special guests or have topics, but it is something that we are looking at in the future.
If you have any other questions, let me know.
Cheers!

Meetings are scheduled for July and August, but it's the summer. Participation tends to dip and you may only get a handful of people who show up. Folks must be out and living their new and improved lives. Go figure!!
Nevertheless, meetings usually go ahead regardless of this. If the meeting is cancelled or postponed, I will post a message on this forum.
Cheers!

Callie:
If you are in the greater Edmonton area, there is a peer support group with many post sleeve patients, including myself. Admittedly, we don't have any regulars who have gone out of country for surgery, but everyone is welcome nonetheless. Our next meeting is tonight and then monthly after that. No cost involved other than for parking your jalopy at the hospital.
Cheers!
