Hello All
I have been approved for my TT by Dr Davey....wooo hooo!
I asked how long? He told me they are training a plastic surgeon and he will be ready around mid July...then he will be scheduled to do 5 - 6 surgeries a day....so he said it could be as early as late August..
I am soooooooo happy!

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't. Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened. My Surgery was September 21/2010
Hey Brenda,
Good for you! You have done so well and this will be the "icing on the cake". That's not too far away. Gives you enough time to catch up on all the things you want to do so you can really take it easy after surgery.
Is Alberta Health Care paying for all of it? How hard is it to get approval? Do they ever pay for any other plastic surgery- do you know. Or maybe you are lucky and that is all you need.
We are really so lucky- I was reading on the VSG board- the costs in US for surgery go up to $100,000. Ridiculous. I didn't have the nerve to tell them that in over 2 years at Weight Wise (doctors, nurses, psychiatrist, nutritionst, and the whole surgery, hospital and follow-up) the only thing I had to pay for was the parking! And I get this free- whether I have a job or not. I doubt if they would actually believe it.
Canadian-eh.....Yeah me too and glad of it.
Dr Davey told me he plans to retire in two years and couldn't keep up with all the Panni's...so they have a plastic surgeon on board now who is being trained for stomach fat/skin removal.
He said I should lose another 7Kilo (about 12 lbs) once it's off...
