week 3 - blood sugars?

hey 3 weeks since my banding .... started to eat some real food (chicken, tuna, shrimp, salmon, some fruit, even tried pita bread)  my blood sugars are not being kind.... any one else have problems here?  what did you do?

My blood sugars have never been kind to me. I've always run high. I'm also a type 1. All I do is take insulin and walk walk walk. My sugars were 13.3 about an hour ago (before I went for a 4 km walk), and now they're sitting at 6.0. I'm happy with that.

I'm also on waaaaaaaaay less insulin than I was pre-op. Pre-op I'd be shooting up at least 60-80 units of humalog per meal, now it's down to about 11-15 per meal. YAY ME! :-)
