I just picked up 2 books I ordered from the book store.

1. Eat It Up. The Complete Mind/Body/Spirit Guide to a  Full Life After Weight Loss Surgery.

2. The Patient's Guide to Weight Loss Surgery. Everything you need to know about Gastric Bypass & Bariatric Surgery.

Anyone else read any good books about WLS?

I just bought Women Food and God. Oprah had the Author on the other day and I really liked what she had to say.. that was my gift to me for almost at the 100 mark.

I know that the book is more about prior to weight loss or  the things we do to our selves but I really wanted to take some of what the book says and put it into practice..

They say.. all the things we are told about eating. dont eat while driving dont eat and drink at the same time dont  watch tv read ect. So Im sure when Im finished reading something will click.. I have the W loss surgery for dummies and love it ( got it for 10 dollars on Ebay) . I also have the Success Habits for weight loss and im waitng to get the work book..

Thank you girls.  I love to read, but I forget that books are not just for pleasure sometimes!  I will have to see if I can find some of those titles.  Do you go to Chapters or Indigo books to find these?  I usually get a gift card to them for b-days and Christmas

I would be willing to lend out my books to anyone who is interested... not worth it for all of us to pay for them if we can lend them around.

Anyone who wants to read any of mine, let me know!
