My stomach is turning

It is one week from today that I will have my weigh in.  I have lost between 8 and 10lbs.  I am hoping to lose a few more this week.  My tummy is noticibly flatter, for which I am greatful.  Other than that things have gone well.  But sitting here thinking about it has my stoma*****nots.  I'm nervous.  I'm scared.  I'm excited.  I'm hopeful.  As it gets closer and closer \i feel really unprepared.  I am so very busy between now and next Monday that I don't have time to think!  I need to get my house straightened up and organized and pack my bag.  I am working long hours every day until Monday, so there is really very little time!  It is coming really fast!  I know that next Tuesday I will breath a (paninful) sigh of relief..but until then my head is spinning and my stomach is turning!  LOL!

So for those of you who were on the liquid diet did it feel like there was a stitch in your liver?  Do you think that means mine is shrinking?

One week, holy moly. I'd be a mix of emotions too. You have waited so long and now your day has come, its your turn to shine.

Frig I don't see the surgeon until June and everytime I think of it I can literally throw up. I haven't lost 10% of my weight and it's next to impossible for me to do so. I am terrified Dr Karmali will turn me down. If he does I guess I'll just have to accept his desision and move forward living life to the best of my ability as an obese person.

I commend you on making it this far and I know after surgery you'll suceed and be another success story that all of us here on the forum can read about.

Go get em' girl.

thats awsome your doing amazing. Im so happy things are going well.. Ya the closer it comes the more butterflies you will have.. But remember the end result.. as for the liver thing. I just knew that it was getting easier to deal with the liquid diet so something had to be working. And I was down from 343 to 328 which was amazing..

 Hugs..

That is amazing Karen!

Yup so far so good.  Just nervous.  But this time next week it will all be over and there will be nothing to be nervous about.

Absolutly Chancey chick!  The butterflies only happen when I sit here and dwell on not having the surgery...like if the deny me or cancel or whatever.  My WL has plateaued again so that is giving me the butterflies, not the surgery itself.  I have had c sections so I have an understanding of abdonminal surgery and I anot afraid of it at all:)  Just afraid of going to the clinic Monday and them saying WTF!  You have been on liquids for 18 days and all you could lose was 7 to 10 lbs???  DENIED!  ACK!  That is my fear and that is waht puts the butterflies in my stomach!!!
