New and looking

Hello, I am new to this forum but I have been looking at sergical weightloss for quite some time.  I have a good feeling that DS is the procedure for me.  I am wondering what others out there think and which sergeon would be best.  Also I do not think I can take 3 weeks off work at this time.  The cost of course is very inportant also.  I look forward to hearing from you.  I do drive a truck long haul for a living and I will not be home until thursday at the earlyest so forgive me for not getting back to anyone right away.  Thank you again.

 as far as i know DS is not offered here in albeta. more popular in the US.

DS is NOT offered in Alberta and surgery is also not self-pay here There is a wait time of about one yr , sometimes longer, after a referral to a bariatric surgeon or Edmonton's Weight Wise Clinic from your family pyhsican.
Time off work is all depending on how your body bounces back after surgery and which one you opt for. Alberta surgeons do Lapband, RNY and VSG ( the sleeve).
