OT A stupid bar...

There is a bar thingy that keeps coming on my screen right in the middle of psople's posts. I am not sure how to get rid of it. Any ideas?

Not a clue, but didn't want to read and not reply. Maybe check your settings and see if you have anything clicked that you didnt mean to.

Mine is doing the exact same thing and it's super annoying! I thought I was the only one.

Customize profile

Click on the GENERAL tab

Go to the bottom of that page to CHAT BAR and uncheck it.

I sent in a report to support Tech last night and today I got an e-mail back that they were looking into it and trying to fix it. Earlier today I had no friends tool bar but now it's back and it seems to be working fine. Lets hope it stays that way.
