Ok... so TODAY IS CLEANING DAY.. im working on the 2nd Floor... MY ROOM ...

i just put away all my clothes and decided i need to get rid of some more. SO i take out about a large black trash bag full of stuff...... then i realize .. im taking out the wrong stuff... Seems like for as long as i can remember i have been taking out the TOO SMALL stuff.  Leaving the TOO BIG STUFF cause it will fit me longer.  but now i need to start KEEPING THE TOO SMALL STUFF.. and getting rid  of the TOO BIG STUFF...

humm :)

Ohh I love cleaning out my closet and donating all my big stuff. I've held on to a pr of jeans for some before & after shots but everything is sorted and neat in there now and I don't have much of a selection of things to wear as I can't justify throwing more money away on stufff that won't fit in a few months. Thankfully there is a seamstress just down the road so I can get some things taken in.

Enjoy today and your purging of the past. It's such a reward!!

Oh god Sarah, you so it the nail on the head with this one.

For years I done the same thing. I always had such little faith in myself I hung on to the big clothes cause I knew eventually they would fit again. I don't do it anymore. I do have a selection of smaller clothing that I have keep. I just put it in a few of those rubber maid container and put it out of site. I find if its right there in the closet in front of me it depressed me. Alot of it still has the tags on it.

Kim is right also that it's such a waste of money to be buying clothes all the time when we are loosing weight. If we all lived closer we could be doing a clothing swap. I for sure don't mind hand me down.

Anyway girl, good luck with the closet cleaning, hopefully it'll be a plesant experience even thought you'll be tracking back down memory lane.

I have to totally agree with Sarah.. I so do the cleaning thing every turn of a season. ( mostly cus I was raised in the military and we moved so much.) now I do the change the house, change the furnature around..

But in the bedroom....  :-)  I still have the same clothes left from years ago.. Nothing that would fit me now.. SO my goal by the end of summer is to get a totally new warddrobe. I figure I can get through the summer but once Im back at work. Baggy clothes wont work.. so . Right now its just coasting.. Maybe in about 50 lbs i will get new stuff.. I live in Pants and T-shirts...

Im looking at giving them away.. I found that most people my size wear clothes till they are worn.. Most of my pants and good shirts are like " great shape"..

YAY!!!! Congrats... That is great. I thought I had a small victory when I had to use a different belt loop, but I can't wait to have to pack up all my fat clothes.
