ooook???
Depending on what you ate on thursday and if you properly diagested your food and pooped and all that wonderful stuff it could be still in your system. You could be retaining fluid or maybe it's close to that time of the month. Try drinking more liquids to flush yourself out.
Breath and relax, it'll all be fine. In 16 days you'll weigh in at the clinic and you'll see that you are down and everything will be a go. I'd say you got a case of the nervous jitters.
Remember we're all here rooting for you.
Keelan.

Gall Bladder surgery April 12,2012
You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't. Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened. My Surgery was September 21/2010
I gained from the week i was approved to the next wk appointment.. that what made me say I wanted the LD. I found that the Glucerna is less calories than the boost or the ensure.. I also tried really hard to walk 70 mim a day .. That really helpe.d It will all be ok.. Hugs.. Its our body seeing if we are paying attention.. Dont stress.. stress keeps weight on... when weigh in day came I was down way more than they thought i would be.. Hugs
BTW :
stay away from the scale for a few days.. Honest.. only scale that matters is the one at the clinic on weigh in day.
I am in the same place as you. I have been so strict with everything the dietitian has been telling me to do because I do not want to have them cancel my surgery after all my hard work but after 5 days of being sooooo strict I am up 5 lbs. I think my body is just putting up a fight but I am going to stay away from the scale and just keep doing what my dietitian told me to do and I know that the weight will come off. I am normally a really huge stress ball but I agree that this is the time to let go of all the stress and worry, just do what we have been told and show up for surgery and all will be fine.
Good Luck,
Katrina
Chin up! Know you have loads of people cheering you on and ignore the scale.
If you are worried about not knowing how your body is doing, maybe measure your inches instead once a week. When I talked to Corey last week he said it is normal for our bodies to fight change and sometimes measure your loss in inches is the only way to see the change because the scale can lie!
Stay strong and keep posting!
Thank you all:) This morning I was down 3 lbs. I think I will stay away from the scale a bit...I'm a little obsessed so I will try to go on every other day. I think my body is going through and adjustment period and that's ok because so is my mind. It's funny though, my will power is strong. There was pizza last night and I didn't miss is and there is a roast on right now and although it would be lovely to sample a peice I find myself not really being that interesed in it Normally I would have a snack because I could smell the food. I think that limiting myself to 4 a day and allo wing myself a cheat (well it isn't really a cheat because I am allowed 5 plus a cup of skim milk) my cheat being a tea with milk and a cup of ff chicken broth I just don't feel like food. I am thinking that this LD actually helps to prepare you for life after surgery as well:)
Anyway yesterday was a good day and so far today has been great as well!
Sometimes the scale can be our enemy. Honest.. I can totally relate. when i went for the appointment and found I had gained a little. I was OMG. NOOOOO but you know it all worked out. I dont worry about numbers cus the only number that matters is the one in Clinic.. If you ./ we do what we have to it will all work out.. We are all at the point where we need to be to get to the next journey. ANd Im so glad that we have this site, our new friends and WWC to support us..
Have faith.
