So today was my first day of liquids. I made it all day and I have only drank 4 of my 5. I don't know if I will be able to have my 5th. I am up until 11 so I might be able to get the last one in before bed. Hope tomorrow goes as well as today has:)

Hey Relene,

Just wondering if you called the clinic today to tell them you have a surgery date. I was told by my nurse that the minute you get the call you call them and they will fit you in to see your team. Apparently there is a module they want you to do before surgery and they give you a list of things that need to be done.

Anyway I do hope that you will get into the clinic next week. Good luck with the liquid diet.

Hey Keelan:) I already took the preparing for surgery course and am registered in maintaining the change. My appointment to see my team was on the 17th but now they have switched it to just a weigh in as well as have booked me for a follow up with Dr. Birch and a 6 week post op with Lee:) I called my DR for a physical and I think that was all I was supposed to do besides the liquids. It has come up so very fast but I think that i am lucky because I don't have as long to wait and worry. The next 2 and a half weeks are gonna fly by!

hey way to go... wow, you are almost there and what a change your going to experience... enjoy all of the liquids...and enjoy the next couple of weeks prepping... you will feel so great before surgery... tammy

You will also have the pre-admin clinic at the Royal Alex. That might take you a few hours, they'll explain the admission process and perhaps give you a soap to wash with before your surgery.

Thanks guys:) They said that they will call me about the pre admissions and that it should be on the 17, the day before. I also weigh thhat day (thankfully so that I don't have to make 2 trips)
