Sleep Study

Yahoo I just for a call from Dr. Sebestains clinic in Edmonton telling me that my level 3 sleep study came back normal and that there is no need for me to go back to his clinic to see him.

That one more move step in the right direction. Now all I can say is come on June 7th so that I can see Dr. Karmali.

Also for any of you who are in the program it's vitally important to have this sleep study done cause if you put it off  you could be delaying your surgery. The surgeons will not operate if you don't have it done.

I'm super excited that its done and it's normal. That phone call just made my day a little brighter.

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010

Yahoo!! I went to Advanced Respitory Care in Sherwood Park for  my sleep study and when it came back negative I went back to see  Dr. Skojdt  for a pulmonary consult. Have you had one yet?  He asked me a bunch a questions, listened to my lungs and heart. Maybe I had to go as I snore? Either way once I was there he told me I had a heart murmur, wanted me to go for an ECG and another follow up with him. Damn appts!!

I since have seen his report back to the clinic that everything was normal , I have since cancelled all dealing with him. I have a family doctor and didn't like him enough to want to go see him again. Ever just get that "eeeewww vibe?"  Thankfully I have now have all the clearings for surgery ( unless something isrequested by the surgeon besides the classes). Who knows Keelan, maybe we'll be in at the same time??

Hope June comes fast for you. My appt with Dr. Birch is only 4 days away......YIKES!!!! Surgery in a couple monhts just doesn't seem real!

When I seen Dr. Sebestian at his Jasper Ave clinic he did listen to my lungs and heart. He stated to me then I had no pulmonary issues and he doubted that I had any apnea. He was right.

My sister went to the Respitory clinic just this tuesday past and I do think its and ok route to go but I felt much more secure knowing that I see the specialist before the study.

Oh trust me girl, when I get that not so good vibe I high tail it out of there. I always follow my gut feeling and it hasn't failed me yet. It's kinda a joke but my hubby asked if I get the sleeve done and they remove part of my stomach will they remove my "gut feeling" I sure hope not...lol.

I'm excited to hear all about your appt on Monday. I think we all rooting for each other and its great feeling to know we're not alone. We are all connected by a common goal.
