Protein
I see quit a few posts about people using powdered protien? Does everyone use this? Is it good to have? pretty sure i probably dont get enough, am 8 days out.. and drink alot of milk, yogurt drinks, cream soups.but not sure if this is enough. Would it be good to get powdered protein? what do you get? where do you buy it? Can you get it without having to use a milk form?
the dieticians at the clinic are very against the use of protein supplements once you start solids unless you are having complications, which then they will suggest you go back on ensure/powder.

i bought one called iso gold and it is 98% protein (27g of protein in a 30g scoop). its not horrible but i find that ensure has killed any chance of me really using any protein supplement.

Thanks Jen, they never suggested that i go on any sort of protein supplement..they told me i could have ensure if i needed it, but just wanted me to get protein from milk and other high protein fluids..I try and drink as much milk as i can, (even noticed my teeth getting whiter) but its very filling. I cook everything with milk too.. besides yogurt and instant oatmeal im a little clueless on where else to get it.
