last day of work before the big day

well left work ( im a teacher) for the last time before the big orperation on weds.  A sad sort of day but did all i could do to prep my kids and the sub.

That is great. Where do you live? How long have you been waiting?  Were you put on a liquid dieit? For how long?

i live in st albert, got final approval in november after jumping  all the hoops at the ww program.  the liquid diet has been fun for the last 3 weeks and will continue for a couple of weeks after tomorrow.  thanks for the reply

     I did the 3 wks plus 2 days LD and then was on FF till a few days ago.. Now Im on solids.. Not sad about the weight lost.. Its amazing how fast its coming off.. I was 328 when I had and Im 311 yesterday..


I was told that the hoops they make us jump through are for our own good.. I know that sounds dumb. And not to think of them as hoops.. If you read some of the peoples info. we are very lucky to have been given the tools that they gave us and to be able to put them into somewhat practice.. Even though its a totally different when you have surgery..

. But After the past year I think Im in a better head space to deal with what ever comes my way.. I had surgery on April 6th.. The only frustrating thing I find is " what to eat".. and not being hungry... I will think of you and wish you  a speedy recovery...

You can either believe it will happen.....or believe it won't.  Both are self fulfilled prophesies. For Me it has happened.  My Surgery was September 21/2010
