as it says, it wasn't much but it was my start.  I did 25 minutes on the treadmill today and alternated walking with running. In all it was only about 5-6 minutes of running but DANG, I haven't ran in forever and two days.  I don't know maybe I am excited about nuthin' but for me it just brings home the fact that I can do this and I will succeed!!!!!!!

Every step and every success is worth a pat on the back. Congrats and before you know it you'll be walking long and running longer.

its funny how we minimize doing something positive... i want you to know that what you did was just for you, and i am so so proud of you... you just keep doing anything that i for you to make you a happier healthier person, cuz you deserve it, did you know that... good job...

Thanks guys. Its day three now and still trying it, knee is aching like a b##### but gotta carry on!  I have had 6 reconstructions on my left knee so today it was more walking because of yesterday going all out and running 2 whole minutes lol.  Actually I ran then walked then switched to a 8% incline to finish my walk.  Even losing the 18 that I have it feels so much easier!!!!
