I was just wondering if you guys liked me posting a challenge for the day or the week.  I used to go on the Weigh****chers website and do cahllenges from there and I fould that it really helped me to stay focused and on track.  If anyone is interested we could take turns making up a weekly challenge to inspire each other to get moving and eat right.  So if anyone is interested in posting a challenge or participating in a challenge just add your name to this thread and we can start helkping each other to succeed!

I think challenges are great!! Not only for motivation but just to be involved in something with others on the same path as yourself.

I know at my last clinic appt. Dr. Yalto told me NO diet pop or carbonated beverages of any kind. Do any of you still drink diet pop? Try not having any if it's part of your routine.

good idea!  As for the pop, my doc said to cut out the coke so I just stopped all carbonated beverages. Guess I was evil for a couple weeks but its now over 3 months with absolutely no fizzies!!!!!!  As a side note, my blood pressure went down 20 points as well.

I sometimes still have a diet gingerale but before the programs I worked in a fast food joint and I drank pop all day long. I worked 10 hours a day and I seriously drank pop for 10 hours.

Jina, my nurse hasn't ragged on me too much cause I have made a drastic change but she stated after surgery you can't have no carbonated drinks. I'd say it's a good thing that I'm not a beer drinker.

But anyway I did ask her if I could still have pop if it was flat and no fizz and she said quite a few patients of the clinic do this so they can staill get their fix.

Works for me.

Keelan.

I quit drinking carbonated beverages in September with the exceptio of a glass of Boone's wine this last weekend when I surprised my hubby with a romatic "getaway" at home.  It was soooooo hard to go from 1-2 cases a day down to nothing.  I still crave my diet pepsi, but I just don't give in!!

So I will start the challenge for the week tomorrow, but we can run it Monday to Sunday.  If you have an idea for a challenge for the week let me know and we will use it!  Thanks all!Hope this helps to motivate you all and to keep this board active!
