Morning everyone!

3 weeks ago today was my RNY surgery. I am down 30 lbs. Started eating solid foods on Friday. Today I had a dr's appointment with my family doc and he says that I'm healing up really nice. I'm happy about that. Saturday I started walking outdoors and went on a 2 km walk around the loop in my neighborhood. Sunday, my husband and I went on that same 2 km loop. I'm hoping today to be able to do it again too, but I'll wait until my hubby gets home from work and he can come with me again. I've also updated my avatar.

OMG!!! 30 LBS DOWN!!! You must feel like a whole new you! Way to go! I can't wait to be on 'losers lane' (although it has been coming off s-l-o-w-l-y for the past year) I bet that 2 km walk is alot easier now that you are down 30lbs and I bet that you really notice it! Keep up the great work!!!!

Actually....the 2km walk isn't really easier. My right hip kills me when we get home. Still have too much weight hanging on this body. And I know it'll take time to get it off.

I sent a "before" and "now" pic to my dad last night. I'm waiting for my phone to ring so he can tell me that I look different. And.... May 1st I get to see my in-laws and I know they're anxious to see me. :-D
