I need some motivation, so I decided that I am going to start a challenge thread.  The challenge is to start walking more.  I figure if you up how long you currently walk for by 10 minutes it is attainable, reasonable  and challenging enough.  I am encouagring all of you to walk 10 extra mintues every day and to come in here and post when you are done.  If you come on here and the thread isn't started go ahead and start it:)  I would love for a few people to join me as I think this may help my plateau and encourage all of you to be active and we can have some fun doing it:)  Thanks to all who join me and help me:)  I appreciate it!

So to start us off I will need to walk for at least 30 minutes everyday.  That's my 20 that I do now plus 10 more:)  Good luck!

Great Challenge! I have a broken bone in my foot that is really bothering me... so I have been struggling a lot to get even 6000 steps and so my commitment will be to get alteast 6000 steps everyday!

Currently and for the 9 months, I have been walking our chocolate lab, Layla for half an hour every morning (early) and another half an hour after work (at Laurier park) week days. Weekends, my fiance and I walk her at Laurier for about an hour.

I love to walk outside!!!
