Suggestions for not going postal on the sweet darlings or on how to stop some of the solid food cravings when the little darlings open their lunch sacks?

How not to go postal...when you figure this out let me know.  I will be doing a peop diet when I get a date and my surgeon made the remark about it being for three weeks...I have 4 angels at home (I see them as angels now but perhaps when I am restricted to liquids I will see them as tempting little devils with their chocoalte smiles and candy fingers)

As for stopping the cravings...When my kids don't finish something on their plate and I am tempted to pick at it I just remember back to when they picked their nose, or stuck their hands down their pants.  I think about germs crawling on food or bugs.  I imagine maggots or mold.  Turns me right off of wanting to pick at their meals.  So if one of the little rugrats brings a super delicious smelling lasagne, or a gooey slice of chocolate cake just remember dogs eat their own poo, kids let dogs lick their hands, kids don't wash and kids touch everything and anything including thier food.

Hope that helps a little.  Good luck and if you can come here and post even if its about nothing.  Keeping your hands busy and your mind occupied should help.  (I took up cross stitching and OH to stay out of the fridge)

I did 17 days and I found that day 11 and 12 were tough.. My major stress was my work and my daughter.( ended up in hosptial).. But I had to go back to the basics and know that I have to continue to get to the point of where i worked so hard to get. Work is work.. My daughter is over 19 and making her own choices.( as tough as that souunds).. but I know she was in a good place. and they would look after her. She was discharged monday and i went in tues.. I havent heard from her since. SO I guess.. We all have to do what is best.. I had 5 glucerna a day switched from Ensure HP and 1 yogurt (80), and 2 liters of water.. I did ok.. I was was 328 went for surgery) going to weigh my self tomorrow.. Hugs it will be ok.. Just journal.. It works..
