Hello Everyone

Hello everyone,

Just wanted to stop by and say hi.

I am getting a referral from my Dr. this week an will be going onto the wait list with Dr. Farries in Red Deer. I know all about the wait list as I am  booking clerk for a large medical Clinic. I am very excited about begining this process. I have been over weight my whole life and have tried every diet known to man... losing only gain every pound back plus more. 

I am so glad to have found such an amazing support system. You all rock and are so amazing. I have read so many amazing stories and  brave encounters on hear WOW.

If anyone has any suggestions to get me started while I do the WAIT...lol that would be awesome.  I live in Camrose about an hour from Edmonton and 1.5 hours from Red Deer.

Can anyone shedd some light on Dr. Farries? what type on baritric surgery does he do?  How are his staff? I have talked many time to the receptionist at his office as I have sent over numerous referrals his way, she seemed nice.  

Well Today is my 31st Birthday and I am very excited and hope that by my 35th Birthday I will a much smaller and healthier version of Me.....and a much better role model for my kids.


Is there anything I should or could be doing now while I wait for my 1st consult?

Welcome Chrissy.  I'm from a small town near Wainwright.  I got my degree in Camrose, and I love it there:)  It's great that you found this site.  I really have enjoyed it!
I have no info on DR Farries...I am through Weight Wise in Edmonton.  I wish you the best of luck:)
