lap gastric bypass!

how many people have lost their hair followinglap gastric bypass?

Hi! I am still pre-surg so I can not say from experience- however, from my research and spending time on this site- it is quite common to lose some hair, but it is temporary and if you are eating sufficient protein you can stave this off.

Im going for Lap Gast. Bypass through WWC. I was refered to the Dr in Nov.. 09.. Saw Him Feb 22 2010.. And Approved same day. I have my surgery. ALL going well April 6th.. So Not Long. It really depends Case by case.. I hear people wait along time. then I hear people get in fast. Its all about what your goals, ect are..

Most imforation i have read about hair loss is just that someitmes you need to take meds. then it comes back. No big issues with continued hair loss.

Around the 4 month I started to lose my hair....I knew it was coming....and there is NOTHING you can take to stop it...increasing your protein?  NOPE...taking Biotin....NOPE!

It is what it is...

I just found myself getting a shorter haircut...problem solved....it has long stopped falling out, but I LOVE my new hair.
