Any suggestions as I am getting frustrated.
Thanks

How long has the scale been stuck on the same weight?
My dietitian said it's like a fluctuation of 3-4 lbs over and over again for up to 3 months. I have been going through a mini plateau/wall for the last 2 months but yet never gaining!! woohoo
I'd suggest for you to either wait to discuss it at your next meeting with your RN & dietitian or call them.
If you are maintaning your weight - this is a good thing  and everyone hits the dreaded plateau.
Dietitian may suggest for you decrease calorie intake and see what happens but will likely want to see food journalling and exercise log first to see what might be the full cause of the standstill.
How is your exercise going?

It feels like forever but probably only a couple of weeks.  I exercise 30 mins most days except when I have to work day shift.  My job involves alot of time walking and physical work.
I go at the end of March for a dietician appointment but not to the RN until the middle of  April.
The reason I am getting frustrated is my calorie count is not that high right now between 1400 and 1800 most days.
One day I will weight myself and I am down the next day I weigh and I am up again a couple of pounds which doesn't make sense to me.
I guess I am so frustrated as I have been doing so good and want to keep it up losing as much as possible before surgery.
Thanks for you help I had considered phoning the clinic but wasn't sure how they are about you phoning between appointments.
How are things going for you with you journey?

Hi

I wouldnt weigh yourself every day.. I was told that is the most frustration we go through.. Do it weekly.. As for the Calories. I was up to 1700 then I went to 1500.. Just cus I wasnt hungry.. They said that sometimes our bodies are our worse critics.. I  never gained any weight until the 10th of March.. then I gained 3 lbs. but then on the 18th I weighed in and lost 4.5 so who knows.. Stress, cycle all affect what our body will do..

I would get a call into the RN or RD. they are very good at returning calls.

Its said that everyday the body can fluctuate 2 lbs due to tiny changes inside. Weighing everyday is tough and only aids in our frustration. I am in the 1400-1500 calorie range and haven't strayed from that as I know there is going to come a time with a real plateau that I am going to need to drop to 1200 to get through.
I'm doing good and hoping to get a couple more lbs off before my appt on April 13th. I meet with the doc then to see if we're going to move further with the surgeon.

My weight stats:
Had a baby June 1- weight=328lbs
Joined WeightWise Aug6th- weight=316.5
Current weight- 250.4
Down 77 since June 1- crazy I did it all with journalling and using the food guide. Who would have thiought THAT would work?? LOL

Hello Canki--I think that you have the answer within...any time that I am stuck I reevaluate my diet or exercise...then keep going knowing that it will happen
Try to be kind and loving toward your self and know that it is a journey ...a life journey. You have been losing...so just don't give up :)
