Getting Fills locally

I'm considering having the lap band surgery done in Mexico and went as far as scheduling a date with the hospital there.  Then I discovered that the doctor they had listed here to do the fills was not a sure thing.   Has anyone else had lap band done in Mexico recently and how do you get your fills ?

I haven't had the lap band surgery but a friend of mine had it done in Mexico.  She said she hasn't been able to get a fill done in Edmonton and has had to go to Saskatchewan for a fill.  I think at one time she may have had to go to Calgary as well but I"m not certain.  It sounds like if you've had it done in Mexico, it's very difficult to have anyone in this part of the world give you a hand with fills.

Edmonton won't do it....

As far as I know, no doctor in Alberta will do the fills.

Have you contacted the Lefebvre clinic in Calgary? They're on Macleod Trail S, right by SouthCentre Mall. I was a patient there for awhile (and need to get back!) and the doctors there, Dr. Burke & Dr. Lefebvre, did fills. Plus they're super supportive, lovely people to deal with.
