  I have been stressed more about getting things done. I beleive that what ever will happen will.. I did the work.. And I guess this is what is in my plan.. I dont have the Diabetis., High blood pressure, ect. so Im blessed that way. but I know if  I didnt do somthing thing. I would .

I went to day and bought my Ensure, Bene.. ( protien) small spoons. and

now its just walking, housecleanign and work.. Im loooking forward to meeting you .. My last day is April 3.  And my  Admin date is March 18 @ 0800 >. Oh well. traffic should be ok..

Do you know what your prep date is.???

I go into meet with my nurse and dietician on March 18th.  My admin clinic date is March 19th at 11:45 am.  My weigh-in is on April 5th at 10:15 am.

I also went and bought some of my supplies, I made sure I have all of my vitamins. I still don’t know if I will have to be on the ensure diet. I will find out on Thursday. How long do you have to be on the ensure before surgery? My work still doesn’t know about the surgery, I am telling them on Monday. I’m not sure how they’ll react, but they don’t have much of a choice but to let me have the time off. I was already taking time off the last week in March, I may just end up taking that whole week off anyway.

    I have my weigh in April 5 early morning. GRRRR.
 
Im on it just over 2 wks.. Not long.. I lived 8 wks on TPN ( and didnt go crazy).. so this will be a cake walk, I still get to have yougurt.. SO Im happy..  I got Ensure from Walmart but didnt know until after that it was on sale all weeks o by the time I picked it up. they didnt have a big choice.. I know I can have time off and I plan on doing what I need to get better. If things work out.. I wil find a new job and wont have to go back. Im hoping that the resumes I have sent will do someting. Changes are coming. LOL

Im sure we will meet up.. I know I called the Alex and requested a Semi private room ( only cus of Insu) and that my hubby wants to be there with me.. But Im sure we will see eachother. walking the halls..

I'm prepared for it, though, and I don't think there is anything else I can do to calm my fears other than just do it!

Eek!  3 weeks today!

It's surgery....everyone has fear of surgery.....

My fear was worse if I kept gaining weight....

Everyone has fear of something...just fear if you didn't have surgery.

You are with the best bariatric surgeons in the province....they will take care of you.

I go for my pre-op lab work this Thursday and then I won't be hearing anything from the hospital in Medicine Hat until I'm admitted on the 29th for surgery!!

This month is just flying by!

Just remember that by having this surgery we're prolonging our lives, and by not having it...... *sigh*

Its really flown this month.


I went out and bought My blender today( personal size) 17.00 at walmart. Another set of baby spoons and 4 oz dishes( plastic)..  And my prenatal Vitamins. My daughter who is 27 wks preg was like. What are you doing MOM.. LOL I said when I have my surgery I will have to take these cus they have all the things my body will need.. She was like Ok. I thought you were buying them for me..

 Now to go find Ensure cheap.. I bought some but Hey I dont want to run out. LOL

How did your admin clinic go today?  I get to go to mine tomorrow.

I met with my nurse and dietician today, I only have to do the Ensure diet for 3 days prior to surgery, so that makes me happy. 

 I get to go post-op grocery shopping on Friday and stock up on stuff that I can eat when I finally come home. 

I'm now getting anxious and nervous and that in turn is making it difficult for me to sleep at night, so I had to go see my doc this morning and he gave a prescription that he said will knock me out for sure. Told me I could take 2 if 1 wasn't working well enough. 

I also found out that he has assisted on other gastric bypass surgeries so if I run into any problems he'll be able to help! YAY!!!! I just need to pass that info on to my surgeon. 

Not much else going on here. Windier than you-know-what today. *sigh* I really hate the wind. 

On a positive note, I get to see my daddy soon! YAY!!! He's going to be here either on the 27th or 28th, and then will be going to Medicine Hat with us. I wub my daddy.
