Happy Birthday To Me

My life has changed as of today. I went upstairs to clean up a bit in the kitchen before making dinner, and 25 minutes later the phone rings. I didn't recognize the number when my hubby was telling it to me. Then about a minute or two later, I asked him what the number was again, and I nearly dropped all the plates I had into the dishwasher. It was my surgeon's office that called!!!! I was nervous but called back and found out that someone didn't want their originally scheduled surgery date and was looking for a date that was at the end of April or sometime in May. I guess my name was at the top of the list cause my date was scheduled for April 26. I was asked if I wanted to trade dates, as this lady's date was sooner than mine. I told my hubby and he said to go for it. I then said YES!!!! I wanted the new date. Sooooooooo.... my surgery is now scheduled for March 29..... 28 days from NOW!!!! ONE week before my birthday!!!!

Happy birthday to me! lol

So now, I'm all nervous again, and excited. Gosh I have SOOOOOOOO much to do before the end of this month that it's not even funny!

That is so very cool Hotsprings! How long have you been waiting since the first dr.s referral? I wonder if the wait times are quicker in different cities in Alberta?
