Any advice

Its hard to believe that I have 28 days left till surgery.  I love reading the post of all the sucess people. 
I am how ever getting a little nervous.  Is there anything I should know going into the surgery?  Any last bits of advice. 

 Dunno if this is going to help you any or not (it helped me though). My dad, who lives in Grande Prairie was talking with his surgeon who will be taking out his gallbladder at some point, and mentioned that he wasn't available for the surgery the last part of April, early part of May due to me having surgery. His surgeon asked what I was having done, and my dad told him. The surgeon then asked where I was having it done, and again my dad told him. The surgeon then told my dad that I was in very good hands and not to worry. When my dad told me this, all my worries went out the window. I feel so much more confident in this surgery now. The only thing I worry about is the fact that we can't drink anything until our leak test which is like 3 days after surgery!!!! I go crazy without drinking my water. 

You'll be fine. My surgery is in 56 days!!! WHOO HOO!!!!!

EDIT!!!!!!

I got a phone call this afternoon from Dr Nohr's office. My surgery date is no longer April 26, 2010. My NEW date is March 29, 2010! We're gonna be surgery-mates. lol

We'll have to figure out which rooms we're in and we can go walk the halls together. 

WHOO HOO!!!!!! 28 days to go!

YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

Oh, and yes.... now I'm nervous again. Excited too!

I am the person your actually switching dates with.  I was having some staffing problems at work for my surgery date, so I just gave it a shot and called Laurie at Dr knors office to see it there may be someone who wanted to take an earlier date and switch.  I sure hope this works out better for you, I know it does for me.  I didnt want to cancel and wait another yr.  So again thank you. 

 lol Too funny that it was you I was swapping dates with. 

I got the phone call yesterday at 3:30 asking if I'd be willing to swap dates. If it would've been the 22nd, I would have declined as it would be the 2 year mark of my mom's passing. The 29th works great for me... it's 1 week before my birthday. lol Not really looking forward to drinking protein shakes for my birthday dinner though. lol I'll survive. 

And by taking your surgery date, it means that I'll be an extra month healed before I have to go to a friend's wedding in June.
