Plastic surgery question.... im from quebec

I went to see a plastic surgeon DR Mcgill..... i was approved by the RAMQ (quebec medicare)  for a lower body lift.... legs and arms......she now wants 10 000$ above the total approval by ramq....why??? i also have private insurance by SUN LIFE thru my job paying 100% of hospital costs.... any advice would be appreciated......

some one told me to find out about having it done in calgary as my boyfriend lives there and i will probably be moving there this summer

Hey Nursegal--welcome to the board and thanks for posting. I didn't know that they could do that? hmm good question. A lot of us on the board have not quite reached the phase that you are at... the plastics stage. I am not sure how it works here.
