hi
Im kinda new here but I was referred into weight wise in 2007.. I got in May 2009.. I have lost 10 percent of my body weight.. If there is anything I can tell you. It would be if you are looking for the quick fix easy result your in the wrong place.. Take what they tell you .. if you dont agree sleep on it .. then go back to your nurse and discuss it..

Nothing they tell you isnt something that they learned from not seeing it in person.. I was told today I will be placed on the surgery list and that the dr who saw me NEVER gives people surgery on their first visit..

I do journal and do my daily food intake.. count calories. I walk every other day and I use a flex peddler at work as I do Video watching.. Great exerzsise tool.. I look forward to my visits and if i have quesitons before I can email my nurse.

The other big thing Is DONT MISS APPOINTMENTS..

Good Luck

Thanks for this info! I sit at a desk for 10 hours a day at work... I'm going to look into the flex peddler.

I am hoping that by being at weight wise - I will learn how to NOT regain the weight and if I manage to get to surgery, I know that there is nothing quick or easy about that. I know that it means an altered diet, lifestyle and outlook on life and food, I'm excited to get prepared for all that.

I'm in this to learn to live a long time and keep from getting very, very sick.

Thanks again!
