VSG - Calgary, Kelowna, etc
I saw a few of you talking about doctors in Calgary and Kelowna doing VSG. I can't find a VSG specific board, and when I search surgeons, I get them all over the USA.
Can someone tell me who these surgeons are, how to find them and reach them. Are they private or is there a long waiting list.
Can someone point me in the direction of VSG experiences by different people who have had the surgery.
Thanks,
Jane

Hey Jane--I am not sure about other areas or docs but the Weight wise clinic in Edmonton does the sleeve and yes the wait is long...But you learn a lot from nurses and nutritionist ect. along the way. A number of us are doing great.

There are other surgeons in the US and Mexico that have been highly recommended by others on the VSG board

Hello Jane
I'm sorry but I cant remember the name of the brand new clinic that has just opened in kelowna. When I called them last week the Dr's were away on course.
Due to the price and availability I have opted to go south and getting my surgery (VSG) in April.
I will visit my family doctor for a pre op check over and then when I return to get the stitches out and any other follow ups.
Good luck
