Hi -Me again from Newfoundland. I posted a few months ago asking for info about Bariatric Surgeons in Alberta. For a young woman who is a good friend of mine. Thanks to info I got from this board - I gave her the name of Dr. Nohr in Medicine Hat. Her family doctor has sent off a consult to him. I was wondering if anyone has any idea of wait times for Dr. Nohr. Wait times for first consult - to finally having surgery etc. Any info is appreciated. Thanks so much!

Hi again!

Tell your friend to phone in once she receives her consult date and ask for a cancellation. Do this on Mondays and Thursdays. Something will eventually come up (maybe within 1-3 months after starting to call). Surgery after that is 10-12 months afterwards.
