I attended module one on Sept 8/10 and I just got a call last week to schedule my First Intial Assessment.  It's on October 15th/2010.  Weight Wise is right about one thing "In it for the long haul" but I feel WW is a more sensible program.  The one thing I haven't done since November is keeping up my journal.  I have to get back on the horse soon! LOL

Journaling and using your pedometer is SOOOO important at the WW clinic...they really are sticky about it.

Good luck with your journey....it's a process but so worth it...so MANY are still waiting to get their calls....be thankful ;)

Yeah!!! you made it this far...way to go Linda!! I agree I have learned so much in the program...which are life long skills. I didn't panic about tracking everything yet. You will be ready soon. And I tracked months and months and they only wanted about 1 month before.

Good luck to you and keep us posted.

Congrats Linda on making it this far. It is a lenghty process and it feels like you will never get that call but it happens. After your first appointment it feel like a weight is lifted off your shoulder, its helps knowing your not alone and other people are going through the same thing.

I have been with the clinic since July 09, I am finding the program good but hate that my appointments are being spaced out to about 3 months apart. I also stopped journaling for a few weeks but I got right back on the wagon cause I knew I had the nurse doing a telephone consult last week.  My next appointment is the middle of February and I'm so excited to see what the next steps are and how they will help me to acheive weight loss.
Good Luck :)

Hi Everyone-

Its exciting to be on a journey even one that moves slowly.

I recieved my referral from my doctor to the WW clinic in October 2008, attended module one on Sept 12/09 and got my appointment date for October 29th... I was told by the booking lady to call and check for cancellations occasionally and yesterday I got my appointment bumped up to April 28th. I am so excited to get started and would really appreciate any info that can be offered on what to expect and what is expected of us in the WW clinic.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Doing what they ask .. shows you are willing.. That was the best thing I learned to do.. .

I journal faithfully. use my pedo. and if in crisis email my nurse. i walk faithfully every other day.. use my flex perdler at work.. It cost me 35 dollars..

. I have been very blessed to have an awsome team . I have been working very hard and really wanted this.. When I started I did not want surgery but in teh past few mths that changed.. I saw the surgeon today and have been placed.. Im so excited and will continue to do what ever it takes. I believe Im worth it..

when you feel discourgement.. Tallk about it.. Journal..
