Got me some Shapewear

Ok..so this was my dilema...

My legs and butt say size 16 pant...my tummy says 18....grrr!

Sooo....I have decided to finally purchase some shapewear...found some nice stuff "Fleexes" at Sears....tried an XL on....and it sucked my tummy in nicely.

So...now I have purchased a pair of 16 jean...and it fits nicely....EVERYWHERE!...now on to some dress pants.

I went from a size 26 to a 16 since last November 2008.  It will be almost 100 lbs for me....

I've heard lots of good things about shapewear but my concern is do you feel restricted. I hate anything tight and sometimes I think about buying them but then I always wonder what they'll be like. Don't really want to waste money on something else that the dresser will wear and not me.

Doesn't it just suck kinda being in between sizes, I am also like you a 16-18 depending and I am also very short so i have to hem everything even if i buy them in petite.

I ended up trying on quite a few pairs of shapewear before I was satisfied...I am happy though...it is restricting at the beginning then you get used to it...but I will tell you...at the end of the day when I slip my jammies on in the evening...it feels good to let it all "hang out".

I am comfortable in a 16 dress pant now...I was surprised when I put on my 16 jeans WITHOUT my shapewear..go figure.

Thank God for spandex in jeans lol

How has your life better? How is your diet and exercise?

Have you washed the fleexes yet? How was it after? is it for lower belly?

I bought a pair of XL shapewear from Sears...I didn't end up with the Fleexes...I can't remember the brand now, but they suck my tummy in nicely. The pant looks like "boy shorts"...so (this might sound horrible) there isn't any excess fat/skin hanging out underneath..hard to explain.

Anyways, everything is fine now...next goal...size 14

I went to Sears and purchased a size XL shapewear...looks like boy shorts. They feel great....and I am nicely in a dress pant size 16...to my surprise I put on my 16 jeans yesterday and I didn't need my shapewear..thank God for spandex lol.

Anyways, I highly recommend getting some when the time comes...for me..it was a Godsend.

Diet is going great..I am up to about a cup a food per meal...no snacks though...just don't feel I need them...I nibble here and there on a few things....I haven't limited myself to any foods...my dietician, Krista said I was doing awesome. She told me to STOP looking at the scales and charts and start living...enjoying the things I couldn't do before. She asked what is your next goal (and not the scale). I told her to go on rides at the exhibition this summer.  She put that in my chart lol

I washed my shapewear, but I don't put in the dryer...hang to dry...they are great!
