On pins and needles like I am????

I wondered how you were doing...what are you worried mostly about? 

How is your pre-op going? Are you only allowed a few shakes a day? Do you feel week or sick? headaches? It is the part I am most nervous about.

Stay focused on the end goal...I can imagine that it will be easier to make the good choices post op. You have done the hard part...losing on your own.

Last week was ok..I have lost 10 lbs so far...not surprising...lol.  I hope these next 8 days go fast...I got a call from my RN this morning....encouraging and telling me all tests look good for surgery...so I hope there isn't anything that stops me now.

I have a few headaches here and there but nothing too fatal.

I have a question...I can't remember my darn PIN for my tickerfactory weight chart. Do you know how I can create another one? I can't get in to delete the old one as I need my PIN for that...sheesh!

Also, if I create another one I can't remember how to bring it to the message board.

Thanks it worked...lol  I had to change my account though as I couldn't get rid of my old weight ticker....what a stupid concept not storing your PIN....but then again...I was stupid not to remember it...lol

I have so many areas that need passwords...and I usually always use the same word...but I guess this time I just HAD to be different.  I couldn't log back into tickerfactory and adjust my weight on it....

Oh well....my new name.....onmywaytoloosing...is fitting!!

On May 19 I am having the RNY surgery at the Royal Alex Hospital. Dr Birch is my surgeon.

I have been with the Weight Wise Program at the RAH for a year and a half...a long road...lots of bumps and hurdles along the way...but I finally made it.

Congrats to you!!!! I have been pondering around for years to find a Doctor that does the DS surgery. I have found one that has just opened his clinic in New Brunswick. I am waiting for a consult. My referral was sent Jan.2/09. I am hopeing to see him in the fall and maybe surgery before the New Year!  A long way from Manitoba, but worth it!

Hey Stephanie--have you thought about doing the procedure in two stages? I don't know your bmi or situation I just noticed that a lot of folks on the VSG bored (part one) are losing a ton of weight.
