I have a surgery date....

Do you know who the other lady was?  It would be kinda cool if a few of us could keep in touch and maybe meet again once all our surgeries are done?

What do you think?  Maybe meet for a small appitizer somewhere..since that's all we will probably be able to handle

Yup it is Shayenne that also got her date for May 27 yesterday,s he is some happy. No more waiting game. I cant wait for it to be my turn. i dont know anybody else from the meeting just Shayenne. I was sitting all by myself, so shayenne was in front of me basically. the girl beside me was getting the VSG. I think I know who you are.

Yes the VSG was sitting across from me, a black lady I believe...she had a different package then we did....the lady sitting next to me was having the RNY with Dr Davies...I wonder if she got her date yet?

I was technically approved on March 31st for the VSG with Dr. Karmali.  I've signed the paperwork for him to perform the procedure.

I was under the impression that I needed to do some pre-op testing.  i was given a package of info for tests that i was supposed to do, but it was taken back after talking to Dr. K.

I attempted to follow-up with Dr. K's office regarding a date, as per his instructions, and have been on a wild goose chance since.

My last conversation was with the person at the clinic who books the surgeries.  Not Lorraine as she is RAH surgical booking.  Anyway, she informed me that since she didnt know what tests i was to have, she couldn't book the surgery.  So, she was going to follow-up with Dr. K and get back to me this week.

Yeah, I believe you need to do all the pre op testing before they put you down on the waiting list for a surgery date? Do you k now why it was taken away from you when you talked to Dr. K? I know some people is not on the ball, as when I talked to Sharma and Karmal on March 2 , they both told me taht I would get  surgery withing 3 weeks, here it is almost 2 months ans I havent got a date yet, and ustually its not 2 weeks to even a month before surgery is performed. It is very frustuating at times, but we have no choice to play the waiting game. I have vacations I need to book for this sumer but I cant until i get my date.  So when is your next apt at the weight wist clinic, mine is on may 25th with the dietician and the nurse, hopefully i would of gotten a date byt hen, well good lu ck on your pre op testing dates and stuff.

I am not entirely sure why the test paperwork was taken away.  I was at the front counter booking my post-op nutrition class and a staff person gave me the paperwork.  Dr. K happened to be behind the desk as well.  A second staff number inquired with the first as to whether I should have it or get it in the "pack".  The first staff member asked Dr. K and he replied with "pack" and the paperwork was taken back.  Very strange.  Anyway, I am waiting for a call from Stephanie at the clinic.  She's the one who apparently puts the name of the waiting list after the tests.  Or so I have been lead to believe.

I see, something very similar happend to me but I had another apt with dr. K and they gave it to me then, I also notice d that there is a lady taht got her dayr fehrn rain and she did not do her pre op testing at all, so maybe thats the way it shoudl be now, I dont know
