I have a surgery date....

I got a call yesterday with a surgery date for May 19 with Dr Birch at the RAH.

Woo hooo....

 

Good for you Fernrain, Im so happy for you. there was also another girl with us in the same nutrition class as us and she also got her date yesterday with Dr. karmali, doing RNY for May 27, I m still waiting for my date, should be soon. Good luck. Cecile.

Can you tell me where you were sitting at the Nutrician Class?  I am sure you will get your call any day now also...what was the date you were approved for surgery?

What are you having done?

I was sitting by myself at the end of the table. I am the short haired young lady, hehe. I was the only one getting the lap band with Dr. Karmali. I was spproved on March 4 for surgery.

Sorry I forgot to answer one of your questions. I did call Lorraine, she told me that she did not have a chance to work on bookings today but it should be either june or july now, hopefully it will be june. I talked to my dietician lee and he told me that someone had gotten approved before me and they got their date already, so it should be soon. I hoping for early june. I dont wanna bug Lorraine sometimes she is ok with us calling sometimes she is not so. I dont blame her, but I just wanna know hehe.

I am waiting for my date for a VSG.  When I spoke to Lorraine about bookings, she said that they hadn't worked up the schedule for the spring/summer yet.  That was a about 2 weeks ago.  What she did tell me that it should be done by the end of April.  People on the schedule should start hearing starting in May.  Lorraine likes to give about a months notice.

That's what I know...for what it is worth.

Thats excactly what Lorraine told me as well, I called her this morning and she said they are working on getting dates to people, so hopefully its soon.

I am soooo excited for everyone...yeah...it has finally arrived for you! Wow! you life is about to change. I am behind you a bit...I am hoping to get surgery approval next visit...crossing my fingers and toes.
