Back home

HI everyone.

Well, I am back from Arizona and not liking this snow one little bit!!!  But it is nice to be home too.

I am really struggling with the food right now as I have no restriction and in spite of the doctor agreeing that I should have a fill as soon as I got home, I can't get in to Weight Wise until May15th  so I just have to fight it for a while. Hope the snow is gone before I have to make that trip to Edmonton again....

Have been in contact with Dr. Burke's office and they say she is doing fills for both the lap and Realize bands; The Realize site people also contacted me and said we should be able to get on the site and use it by June..Will keep you posted.

As I have said before, I attended some great support groups in AZ and am wondering what is going on in the Calgary area as far as support groups go??  I would love to hear about any group that is meeting on a regular (or irregular) basis and get involved.

Clue me in people... I have some good info to share too.

Hi Eydie, Welcome back from Arizona, maybe spring will come soon. We have just returned from a farming trip to Sask. You're probably now on your way to Edmonton for a fill, hope all goes well. Do you plan to use Dr Burke when she's available? I don't know about any support groups here in Calgary, but would really like to meet some others with bands. I'm sure it would be helpful to share our experiences. Good luck with the fill.
